It is something truly special when you have the opportunity to photograph your assistant’s vow renewal. These two lovers got married a year ago at the courthouse but have been planning their ceremony and reception in their home state of Wyoming. Initially, plans were started but because of some deployment delays, everything fell apart. I encouraged Madison to continue planning her wedding but change it to more of a pop-up style in the Grand Teton National Park.
After months of planning for both a deployment homecoming and a wedding, the day finally arrived. The sky opened into something filtered and glorious. The wedding was full of anxious butterflies and lots of love. Surrounded by their closest friends (myself included, duh!) and their families, their day was nothing short of perfect.
